Vanilla/Lime Bath & Body Products

Please vote each day for Hothouse Botanicals at StartupNation.  I would love to grow my small business. Thank you in advance for your help!

What could we win? The top 100 will be awarded as the official Top 100 Leading Moms in Business 2014.  All winners benefit from the recognition and publicity for their businesses. The top winner will be featured on StartupNation Radio, etc.

Here is our story on StartupNation:

“My mother and aunt both survived breast cancer. Their stories inspired me to create a line of bath and body products that are free from harmful preservatives, toxic ingredients, synthetic fragrances, perfumes and colors. Founded in 2007, Hothouse Botanicals’ products are not only a treat to the senses, but lovingly handcrafted using wholesome, nourishing ingredients.

At Hothouse Botanicals, we promote giving back to the Earth by using sustainable ingredients and recyclable packaging. We openly divulge all of our ingredients and find it incomprehensible that the ingredients used in most products are not disclosed to us, since what we put on our skin is just as important as what we eat. We have recycle-friendly PET packaging on all of our bath and body products and use environmentally friendly cornstarch peanuts for our packing filler (not only biodegradable, but it dissolves in water).

Every year we make donations to local charities, such as Fresh Start Women’s Foundation, Chandler Christian Community Center, etc. I love being able to give back to the community and make a difference.

I also love the freedom of running my own small business. I have a 3-year-old daughter and I get to spend every day with her. Being a mom and an entrepreneur definitely is a juggling act, but so worth it!”
