Anti-bacterial Facial Scrub:
Baking soda is especially beneficial for acne-prone skin. Add three teaspoons of water to two tablespoons of baking soda to make a paste and apply it to your face, rubbing gently in a circular motion. Rinse, pat skin dry, and apply a light layer of moisturizing cream.
Deep Conditioning Hair Mask & Moisturizing Hand Mask:
Olive oil is rich in polyphenols, which are antioxidants that help stop the spread of free radicals and also the damage caused by pollution, smoking, alcohol, and sun exposure. Apply Extra Virgin Olive Oil to your hair and leave it on for 5 minutes as a deep conditioning hair mask. While you clean your kitchen, you can add a few drops of essential oils to a teaspoon of olive oil, rub the mixture into your hands and put on your rubber gloves for a deeply hydrating hand mask. Rinse after 5 to 10 minutes.
Moisturizing Face Mask:
Bananas are very moisturizing because of their high potassium content. To make this mask, you can simply mash one banana and massage it onto your face and neck. Remove with warm water after 10 minutes.
Soothing Blemish Treatment:
Honey (make sure you use pure, without any added flavorings) inhibits the growth of certain bacteria, so it is great for oily or blemish prone skin. Apply honey to your face and leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse face gently using a warm wash cloth.
